It is He, Who has created for you (the sense of) hearing (ears), sight (eyes), and hearts (understanding). Little thanks you give. 78 And it is He Who has created you on the earth, and to Him you shall be gathered back. 79 And He it is who grants life and deals death; and to Him is due the alternation of night and day. Will you not, then, use your reason? 80 On the contrary they say things similar to what the ancients said. 81 They said, "When we have died and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected? 82 We and our fathers have been promised this before; this is naught but the fairy-tales of the ancients.' 83 Say: Whose is the earth, and whoever is therein, if you know? 84 They will surely say: God's. Say thou: will ye not then heed? 85 Say: "Who is (the) Lord of the seven heavens, and (the) Lord of the Great Throne?" 86 They will quickly say, "It is God." Say, "Will you not then have fear of Him?" 87 Say thou: in whose hands is the governance of everything, and who sheltereth but from whom none is sheltered, if ye know? 88 They will say, "(It belongs) to Allah." Say: "Then how are ye deluded?" 89 Nay, but We brought them the truth and they are truly liars. 90 God has not begotten a son, nor is there any god besides Him. Had this been so, each god would have taken away what he had created with him, and some would have risen over the others. God is much too glorious for what they attribute (to Him)! 91 He knows what is hidden and what is open: too high is He for the partners they attribute to Him! 92
