BUT NAY! I call to witness all that you can see, 38 as well as all that you cannot see: 39 Most surely, it is the Word brought by an honored Apostle, 40 And it is not the word of a poet; little is it that you believe; 41 nor is it the speech of a soothsayer little do you remember. 42 A sending down from the Lord of all Being. 43 And if Muhammad had made up about Us some [false] sayings, 44 We assuredly had taken him by the right hand 45 And then severed his life-artery, 46 and not one of you would have been able to withhold Us from doing so. 47 But verily this is a Message for the Allah-fearing. 48 We certainly know that some among you will give the lie to it, 49 And indeed, it will be [a cause of] regret upon the disbelievers. 50 yet it is a certain truth. 51 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 52
