The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

By the racers, panting, 1 sparks of fire striking, 2 And by oath of those who raid at dawn. 3 and blaze a trail of dust, 4 Arriving thereby in the center collectively, 5 Verily man is most ungrateful to his Lord; 6 and surely he is a witness against that! 7 Surely, he is ardent in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised, 9 and that which is in the breasts is brought out -- 10 indeed, on that Day their Lord will be aware of them! 11
