The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

THE STARTLING CALAMITY. 1 What is the Clatterer? 2 And what have you understood, what the event that terrifies the hearts is! 3 It is a Day whereon mankind will be like moths scattered about, 4 and the mountains shall be like fluffs of carded wool in varying colours. 5 Then as for one whose scales are heavy [with good deeds], 6 He shall live a pleasant life. 7 But as for him whose scales are light, 8 shall be engulfed by an abyss. 9 And what shall make thee know that which she is? 10 A Blazing Fire! 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
