Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

Have you seen the one who calls the religion a lie? 1 So it is he, who pushes away the orphan, 2 And does not urge (others) to feed the poor. 3 So woe to those who pray 4 but are heedless in their Prayers, 5 those who do good (in order) to be seen, 6 And withhold [simple] assistance. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
