Seest thou not that We have set the Evil Ones on against the unbelievers, to incite them with fury? 83 Hence, be not in haste [to call down God's punishment] upon them: for We but number the number of their days. 84 and on the Day when We will ceremonially gather the righteous to the Merciful, 85 And We shall drive the sinners to Hell, like thirsty cattle driven down to water,- 86 They will have no power of intercession, save him who hath made a covenant with his Lord. 87 They say: "(Allah) Most Gracious has begotten a son!" 88 You have done an atrocious thing. 89 The heavens are close to being torn apart by it, and the earth being split asunder, and the mountains succumbing and falling down. 90 For they have attributed a son to Ar-Rahman, 91 And it behoveth not the Compassionate that he should take a son. 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but comes before Ar-Rahman in all obedience. 93 He has counted them and calculated their number. 94 and each one shall come to Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 Surely Ar-Rahman will show love for those who believe and do the right. 96 And We make (this Scripture) easy in thy tongue, (O Muhammad) only that thou mayst bear good tidings therewith unto those who ward off (evil), and warn therewith the froward folk. 97 But how many (countless) generations before them have We destroyed? Canst thou find a single one of them (now) or hear (so much as) a whisper of them? 98
