And lo! it is a revelation of the Lord of the Worlds, 192 It has been revealed through the trustworthy Spirit 193 to your heart that you might become one of those who warn (others on behalf of Allah), 194 In the plain Arabic language. 195 Truly, it is in the Books of the ancients. 196 Is it not a Sign to them that the Learned of the Children of Israel knew it (as true)? 197 And even if We had revealed it to one among the foreigners 198 In order that he read it to them, even then they would not have believed in it. 199 Thus do We cause (unbelief) to enter the hearts of sinners. 200 they shall not believe in it until they see the painful punishment 201 So that it will come upon them suddenly, when they perceive not. 202 And they will say, "May we be reprieved?" 203 What! do they still seek to hasten on Our punishment? 204 But hast thou ever considered [this]: If We do allow them to enjoy [this life] for some years, 205 And then the promise that is given to them, does come upon them- 206 That which they were made to enjoy shall not avail them? 207 And We destroyed not a city but it had its warners. 208 For reminder, for We never were oppressors. 209 The devils did not bring it down: 210 They are not worthy of it, nor have they power. 211 Indeed they, from [its] hearing, are removed. 212 Hence, [O man,] do not invoke any other deity side by side with God, lest thou find thyself among those who are made to suffer [on Judgment Day]. 213 And admonish thy nearest kinsmen, 214 and lower your wing to the believers who follow you. 215 Then if they disobey thee, say: "I am free (of responsibility) for what ye do!" 216 and place thy trust in the Almighty, the Dispenser of Grace, 217 Who watches you when you stand up. 218 And your movement among those who prostrate. 219 He is All-Hearing, All-Knowing. 220 Shall I inform you upon whom do the devils descend? 221 They descend on every sinful, false one. 222 They incline their ears, and most of them are liars. 223 And as to the poets, those who go astray follow them. 224 Observest thou not, that they wander about every vale. 225 And they speak what they do not do? 226 Save those who believe and do good works, and remember Allah much, and vindicate themselves after they have been wronged. Those who do wrong will come to know by what a (great) reverse they will be overturned! 227
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
