Nay, and by the moon, 32 By the night when it departs. 33 and the morn when it dawns! 34 Indeed hell is one of the greatest entities. 35 a warning to humankind, 36 To any of you that chooses to press forward, or to follow behind;- 37 Every soul shall be pledged for what it has earned, 38 save those who shall have attained to righteousness: 39 In Gardens; they shall be asking, 40 Of evil-doers: 41 "What led you into Hell Fire?" 42 and they shall reply, "We were not among those who prayed; 43 Nor did we feed the wretched. 44 We plunged in with the plungers 45 and we gave the lie to the Day of Judgement 46 “Till death overcame us.” 47 Then will no intercession of (any) intercessors profit them. 48 WHAT, THEN, is amiss with them that they turn away from all admonition 49 As if they were affrighted asses, 50 running away from a lion? 51 Rather each one of them desires that he should be given open Books. 52 Nay, but they do not [believe in and hence, do not] fear the life to come. 53 Nay, verily, this (Quran) is an admonition, 54 Let him who will take heed: 55 But none will remember, unless Allah wills, He is the Owner of fear, the Owner of forgiveness. 56
