And those who disbelieve say: when we have become dust, we and our fathers, shall we, for sooth, be brought forth? 67 We have been promised this, and our fathers before; this is naught but the fairy-tales of the ancients.' 68 Say: "Travel in the land and see how (bad) was the end of sinners." 69 Do not be sorry for them, nor be distressed for what they devise. 70 And [when] they ask, "When is this promise [of resurrection] to be fulfilled? [Answer this, O you who believe in it,] if you are men of truth!" 71 Say: "The chastisement whose hastening you have been asking for, maybe a part of it has drawn quite near to you." 72 But verily thy Lord is full of grace to mankind: Yet most of them are ungrateful. 73 Your Lord certainly knows whatever their hearts conceal or reveal. 74 There is nothing of the hidden in the heavens and the earth that is not recorded in the luminous Book. 75 BEHOLD, this Qur'an explains to the children of Israel most [of that] whereon they hold divergent views; 76 It is a guidance and a mercy to believers. 77 Verily, your Lord will decide between them (various sects) by His Judgement. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Knowing. 78 Trust in God for you follow the manifest truth. 79 You cannot make the dead listen and the deaf are unable to hear calls. Thus, they turn back on their heels. 80 nor can you direct the blind to the Right Way, preventing them from falling into error. You can make only those who believe in Our verses to hear the call and then submit. 81 ۞ And when the word shall come to pass against them, We shall bring forth for them a creature from the earth that shall wound them, because people did not believe in Our communications. 82
