We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
