The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ The Event (the Hour or the punishment of disbelievers and polytheists or the Islamic laws or commandments), ordained by Allah will come to pass, so seek not to hasten it. Glorified and Exalted be He above all that they associate as partners with Him. 1 He sendeth down the angels with the spirit by His command upon whomsoever of his bondmen He willeth: warn that there is no god but I, wherefore fear Me. 2 He hath created the heavens and the earth with a purpose. Exalted is He above that which they associate. 3 He has created man from a sperm-drop; and behold this same (man) becomes an open disputer! 4 And He creates cattle: you derive warmth from them, and [various other] uses; and from them you obtain food; 5 There is life and cheer for you as you drive them home in the evening, and lead them out in the morning to graze. 6 They carry your loads to a land which you could not otherwise reach except by painful toil to oneself. Your Lord is the Clement, the Most Merciful. 7 (He has created for you) horses, mules, and donkeys, which you ride and as an adornment; and He creates what you do not know. 8 To God leads the right path, though some deviate. If He willed He could guide you all to the right way. 9
