▼ 17 The Night Journey
Al-Isra 8 of 12

(And remember) the Day when We shall call together all human beings with their (respective) Imam [their Prophets, or their records of good and bad deeds, or their Holy Books like the Quran, the Taurat (Torah), the Injeel (Gospel), etc.]. So whosoever is given his record in his right hand, such will read their records, and they will not be dealt with unjustly in the least. 71 And whosoever is blind in this world shall be blind in the world to come, and he shall be even further astray from the way. 72 And indeed, they were about to tempt you away from that which We revealed to you in order to [make] you invent about Us something else; and then they would have taken you as a friend. 73 Had We not strengthened your faith you might have relied on them some how. 74 In that case We would have surely made thee taste the double of the tornment of the life and the double of the torment of death, and then thou wouldst not find against Us a helper. 75 Indeed they were near to startling thee from the land, to expel thee from it, and then they would have tarried after thee only a little -- 76 Such was Our way with those whom We sent before you. You shall find no change in Our way. 77
