And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 and at night.
