▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ So I swear by Mawaqi (setting or the mansions, etc.) of the stars (they traverse). 75 And that is indeed a mighty adjuration if ye but knew,- 76 it is surely a noble Koran 77 (Inscribed) in the well-kept Book. 78 none but the purified shall touch, 79 A revelation by the Lord of the worlds. 80 Then why do you dissimulate this Revelation? 81 And have ye made it your livelihood that ye should declare it false? 82 Why is it not then that when it (soul) comes up to the throat, 83 and that hour you are watching 84 (And We are nigher him than you, but you do not see Us) 85 if you are not subject to anyone's authority, 86 do you not cause the soul to return to him if you are truthful in your claim? 87 Then if he is one of those drawn nigh (to Allah), 88 it will have rest, happiness, and a beautiful Paradise. 89 And if he be of the Companions of the Right Hand, 90 Then [the angels will say], "Peace for you; [you are] from the companions of the right." 91 But if he (the dying person) be of the denying (of the Resurrection), the erring (away from the Right Path of Islamic Monotheism), 92 Then an entertainment of boiling water. 93 He will burn in Hell. 94 This is the absolute Truth and certainty. 95 So celebrate with praises the name of thy Lord, the Supreme. 96
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
