Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

And verily in the heaven we have set mansions of the stars, and We have beautified it for beholders. 16 and We have guarded it from every accursed devil: 17 excepting such as listens by stealth -- and he is pursued by a manifest flame. 18 And the earth! We have stretched it out and have cast thereon mountains firm, and We have caused to spring up thereon everything weighed. 19 And We have made for you therein means of living and [for] those for whom you are not providers. 20 And there is not a thing but with Us are the treasures of it, and We do not send it down but in a known measure. 21 And We send the fecundating winds, then cause the rain to descend from the sky, therewith providing you with water (in abundance), though ye are not the guardians of its stores. 22 It is indeed We Who grant life and cause death and it is We who shall be the sole Inheritors of all. 23 We know those who lived before you and those who will come after you. 24 and it is thy Lord shall muster them, and He is All-wise, All-knowing. 25
