Seest thou not that We have set the devils on the disbelievers to confound them with confusion? 83 Therefore be not in haste against them, We only number out to them a number (of days). 84 The Day We shall gather the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) unto the Most Beneficent (Allah), like a delegate (presented before a king for honour). 85 And We will drive the guilty to hell thirsty 86 They shall not own intercession, excepting those who have taken of the Compassionate a covenant. 87 They say: "(Allah) Most Gracious has begotten a son!" 88 Surely you have made a monstrous statement. 89 The heavens are wellnigh rent of it and the earth split asunder, and the mountains wellnigh fall down crashing for 90 That men should ascribe a son to the Most Gracious, 91 And it does not befit the Most Gracious to choose an offspring! 92 None is there in the heavens and earth but he comes to the All-merciful as a servant; 93 He has enumerated them and counted them a [full] counting. 94 And every one of them will come to Him on the day of resurrection alone. 95 Those who believe and do righteous deeds, the Merciful will assign for them love. 96 Therefore, We have revealed the Qur'an in your tongue and made it easy to understand that you may give glad tidings to the God-fearing and warn a contentious people. 97 And how many a generation before them have We destroyed! Canst thou (Muhammad) see a single man of them, or hear from them the slightest sound? 98
