۞ O men, you are the ones that have need of God; He is the All-sufficient, the All-laudable. 15 If He will, He can put you away and bring a new creation; 16 And that is not hard for Allah. 17 And no burdened soul will carry another soul’s burden; and if a burdened soul calls another to share the burden, no one will carry any part of it, even if he is a close relative; O dear Prophet (Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), your warning only benefits those who fear their Lord without seeing and who keep the prayer established; and whoever cleansed himself, has cleansed for his own benefit; and towards Allah only is the return. 18 Equal are not the blind and those who can see, 19 nor are the darkness and the light; 20 Nor shade and heat of sunshine. 21 Nor alike are the living and the dead. Verily Allah maketh whomsoever He listeth to hear and thou canst not make them hear who are in the graves. 22 You are only a bearer of warnings. 23 We have sent you with the truth, to give glad tidings and to warn. Never has there been a community to which an admonisher was not sent. 24 And if they reject thee, so did their predecessors, to whom came their messengers with Clear Signs, Books of dark prophecies, and the Book of Enlightenment. 25 [but] in the end I took to task all those who were bent on denying the truth: and how awesome was My rejection! 26
