Lo, the Tree of Ez-Zakkoum 43 Is the food of the sinful 44 Like molten copper boiling in the belly 45 like the boiling of hot water. 46 (It will be said of such sinners), "Seize them and drag them into the middle of hell. 47 Then pour unto their heads the boiling water to torment them". 48 Taste; you forsooth are the mighty, the honorable: 49 "Truly this is what ye used to doubt!" 50 Verily the God-fearing shall be in a secure place 51 In gardens and springs; 52 Dressed in fine silk and (also) in thick silk, facing each other, 53 Thus shall it be: and We shall espouse them to fair, wide-eyed maidens. 54 They shall call therein for every fruit in security; 55 They will not experience any death other than that which they have already been through. 56 A bounty from thy Lord. That is the supreme triumph. 57 We have made the Quran easy for you to recite so that perhaps they may take heed. 58 So be on the watch; they too are on the watch. 59
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: Smoke (Al-Dukhaan). Sent down in Mecca after Vanity (Al-Zukhruf) before Kneeling (Al-Jaatheyah)
