O you who believe! Take your precautions, and either go forth (on an expedition) in parties, or go forth all together. 71 Some of you there are that are dilatory; then, if an affliction visits you, he says, 'God has blessed me, in that I was not a martyr with them.' 72 And if a bounty from Allah befell you, he would surely cry, as if there had been no love between you and him: Oh, would that I had been with them, then should I have achieved a great success! 73 ۞ Let those fight in the way of Allah who sell the life of this world for the other. Whoso fighteth in the way of Allah, be he slain or be he victorious, on him We shall bestow a vast reward. 74 And what aileth you that ye fight not in the way of Allah and for the oppressed among men and women and children who say: our Lord! take us forth from this town whereof the people are wrong-doing, and appoint us from before Thee a patron, and appoint us from before Thee a helper! 75 Those who believe, fight in the Cause of Allah, and those who disbelieve, fight in the cause of Taghut (Satan, etc.). So fight you against the friends of Shaitan (Satan); Ever feeble indeed is the plot of Shaitan (Satan). 76
