We verily created man and We know what his soul whispereth to him, and We are nearer to him than his jugular vein. 16 Behold! when the two receivers receive - one on the right hand and one on the left a sitter. 17 not a word he utters, but by him is an observer ready. 18 And the stupor of death will come in truth; that is what you were trying to escape. 19 And the trumpet shall be blown; that is the day of the threatening. 20 Each soul shall come with a driver, and a witness. 21 (He will be told), "You were completely heedless of this day. We have removed the veil from your eyes and your vision will now be sharp and strong". 22 And his companion, [the angel], will say, "This [record] is what is with me, prepared." 23 [Allah will say], "Throw into Hell every obstinate disbeliever, 24 every hinderer of the good, transgressor, disquieter, 25 Who had set up another god with God. Cast him into severe torment." 26 ۞ His [devil] companion will say, "Our Lord, I did not make him transgress, but he [himself] was in extreme error." 27 "Do not argue in My presence. I had announced the promise of doom in advance. 28 "The Word changes not before Me, and I do not the least injustice to My Servants." 29
