Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But for him who [the true believer of Islamic Monotheism who performs all the duties ordained by Allah and His Messenger Muhammad SAW, and keeps away (abstain) from all kinds of sin and evil deeds prohibited in Islam and] fears the standing before his Lord, there will be two Gardens (i.e. in Paradise). 46 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 47 Containing all kinds (of trees and delights);- 48 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 49 therein two fountains of running water -- 50 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors would you then deny? 51 In both of them are two pairs of every fruit. 52 Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 53 They shall recline on couches lined with brocade, and within reach shall hang the fruits of the two Gardens. 54 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 55 Therein are those of modest gaze, whom neither man nor jinni will have touched before them. 56 jinn and mankindîwhich of the favors of your Lord would you then deny 57 As (lovely as) rubies and as (beautiful as) coral. 58 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 59 Shall the recompense of kindness be aught save kindness? 60 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 61 And beside these there shall be two Gardens. 62 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 63 Both [gardens] of the darkest green. 64 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 65 therein two fountains of gushing water -- 66 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 67 In both of them there will be fruit trees and date-palms and pomegranates. 68 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 69 There will be well-disciplined, beautiful maidens. 70 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 71 houris, cloistered in cool pavilions -- 72 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 73 Undeflowered by man or by jinn before them, -- 74 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 75 Reclining on green cushions and rich carpets excellent. 76 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 77 Blessed be the name of your Lord, the Lord of Glory and Honor! 78

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
