Mention in the Book, Moses. He was devoted, a Messenger, and a Prophet. 51 We called him from the right side of Mount Sinai and drew him close for communication. 52 and We gave him as his helper, out of Our mercy, his brother Aaron, having made him a prophet. 53 And mention in the Book, Ishmael; he too was true to his promise, a Messenger and a Prophet. 54 He enjoined his household to observe Prayer and to give Zakah (purifying alms); and his Lord was well pleased with him. 55 Tell also of Idris in the Book. He was a man of truth and a prophet. 56 and We exalted him to a lofty position. 57 Those were the ones upon whom Allah bestowed favor from among the prophets of the descendants of Adam and of those We carried [in the ship] with Noah, and of the descendants of Abraham and Israel, and of those whom We guided and chose. When the verses of the Most Merciful were recited to them, they fell in prostration and weeping. ۩ 58 ۞ But they are succeeded by a generation who neglect their devotional obligations and follow only earthly pleasures; but they will reach the wrong road and meet destruction, 59 Except those who repented and accepted faith and did good deeds – so these will enter heaven, and they will not be deprived* in the least. (* Of their due reward.) 60 Gardens Everlasting, which the Compassionate hath promised unto his bondmen, unseen; verily His promise is ever to be fulfilled. 61 No empty talk will they hear there - nothing but [tidings of] inner soundness and peace; and there will they have their sustenance by day and by night: 62 This is the garden which We cause those of Our servants to inherit who guard (against evil). 63 We never descend except at your Lord's command. What is before us and behind us and all that lies between belong to Him. Your Lord is not forgetful. 64 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, so worship Him, be patient in His worship. Do you know any that can be named with His Name' 65
