Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
The food of the Zakkum tree 43 is food for the sinner. 44 Like molten copper; it churns in their bellies. 45 Like the churning of boiling water. 46 Seize him, then drag him down into the middle of the hell; 47 "Then pour over his head the torment of scalding water." 48 Taste thou! thou art indeed mighty, honoured! 49 Lo! this is that whereof ye used to doubt. 50 But those mindful of God will be in a safe place, 51 Within gardens and springs, 52 dressed in fine silk and in rich brocade, and they will face each other: 53 We shall unite them to maidens with big black and white lovely eyes. 54 While resting in security, they shall call for all kinds of fruit. 55 They shall not taste therein of death, save the first death, And He shall guard them against the chastisement of Hell -- 56 By the beneficence of your Lord. This will be the great success. 57 Verily, We have made this (Qur'an) easy, in thy tongue, in order that they may give heed. 58 Wait then (O Muhammad). Lo! they (too) are waiting. 59
