۞ But nay! I swear by the falling of stars; 75 and, indeed, that is a most mighty oath, if you only knew -- 76 This is indeed the noble Qur’an. 77 In Book well-guarded, 78 Which none can touch except the purified. 79 A Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 Would you, now, look down with disdain on a tiding like this, 81 You live by calling it a lie. 82 Then why do ye not (intervene) when (the soul of the dying man) reaches the throat,- 83 right before your very eyes? 84 But We (i.e. Our angels who take the soul) are nearer to him than you, but you see not, [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 27, Page 209] 85 why, if you are not at Our disposal, 86 Bring back the soul (to its body), if you are truthful? 87 And if the deceased was of those brought near to Allah, 88 it will have rest, happiness, and a beautiful Paradise. 89 And if he be of the Companions of the Right Hand, 90 Then upon you is the greetings of peace (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), from those on the right. 91 And if he is one of those who give the lie (to this Message) and go astray, 92 Then an entertainment of boiling water. 93 And roasting at hell-fire. 94 Surely this is the truth of certainty. 95 Therefor (O Muhammad) praise the name of thy Lord, the Tremendous. 96
