And the dwellers of Al Hijr also belied the Messengers. 80 And we gave them Our revelations, but they were averse to them. 81 They would carve secure houses out of the mountains. 82 So the scream overcame them at morning. 83 that they earned did not avail them. 84 We created not the heavens, the earth, and all between them, but for just ends. And the Hour is surely coming (when this will be manifest). So overlook (any human faults) with gracious forgiveness. 85 Your Lord is indeed the Creator of all, the All-Knowing. 86 And assuredly We have vouchsafed unto thee seven of the repetitions and the mighty Qur'an. 87 Do not yearn for other people's property and wives and do not grieve (that they do not believe). Be kind to the believers. 88 and say, 'Surely, I am the manifest warner.' 89 Like (those) We had sent to those schismatics who slandered their Books 90 Those who broke the Word of Allah into several parts. (Those who broke the Torah / Bible or changed its text – or those who called the Qur’an a fabrication / poetry.) 91 But, by thy Sustainer! [On the Day of Judgment] We shall indeed call them to account, one and all, 92 For all their deeds. 93 Therefore declare openly what you are bidden and turn aside from the polytheists. 94 verily, We shall suffice thee against all who [now] deride [this message - all] 95 those who set up another deity alongside Allah. They shall soon come to know. 96 We are well aware that you are disheartened by what they say. 97 Proclaim thy Lord's praise, and be of those that bow, 98 and serve thy Lord, until the Certain comes to thee. 99
