And when your Lord called to Moses, saying: 'Go to the harmdoing nation, 10 The people of Pharaoh. Will they not fear Allah?" 11 He said: O my Lord! surely I fear that they will reject me; 12 My heart is constrained, my tongue falters, so delegate Aaron; 13 They hold a sin against me, and I fear that they will kill me' 14 (It was) said: "By no means. Go with My signs, both of you. I am verily with you and I hear. 15 They came to the Pharaoh and said, "We are the Messengers of the Lord of the Universe. 16 ‘That you let the Descendants of Israel go with us.’” 17 (Firon) said: Did we not bring you up as a child among us, and you tarried among us for (many) years of your life? 18 And [then] you did your deed which you did, and you were of the ungrateful." 19 He said: I did it then, when I was of those who are astray. 20 I fled from you because I feared you. But my Lord has given me judgment and made me one of the Messengers. 21 And this is the favor with which you oblige me: You have made the Israelites your slaves. 22 Pharaoh said: "And who is this Lord of the Universe?" 23 [Moses] answered: "[He is] the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them: if you would but [allow yourselves to] be convinced!" 24 Pharaoh said to those around him: "Do you hear (what he says)?" 25 Musa (Moses) said: "Your Lord and the Lord of your ancient fathers!" 26 Said Firaun, “This (Noble) Messenger of yours, who has been sent towards you, has no intelligence!” 27 He said: Lord of the east and the west and whatsoever is in-between, if ye understand. 28 Said Firaun, “If you ascribe any one else as a God other than me, I will surely imprison you.” 29 Musa (Moses) said: "Even if I bring you something manifest (and convincing)?" 30 (Pharaoh) said: "Show it then, if thou tellest the truth!" 31 Then he cast down his staff, and lo! it was a serpent manifest. 32 And he drew out his hand, and behold, it was white to all beholders! 33

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
