Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
40 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah) before The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Nay! I swear by the day of resurrection. 1 And I swear by the self-reproaching soul. 2 Does man imagine that We will not be able to bring his bones together again? 3 Indeed yes, We are able to shape his fingerstips yet again! 4 Yet man is sceptical of what is right before him. 5 'When will the Day of Resurrection be' he asks, 6 But [on that Day,] when the eyesight is by fear confounded, 7 and the moon is darkened, 8 and the sun and the moon are joined together, 9 people will say, "Is there anywhere to run away?" 10 Never! There is no refuge! 11 on that Day, to your Lord alone is the recourse. 12 Man will be informed that Day of what he sent ahead and kept back. 13 In fact, people are well-aware of their own soul 14 even though he offers his excuses. 15 Move not your tongue concerning (the Quran, O Muhammad SAW) to make haste therewith. 16 Indeed, upon Us is its collection [in your heart] and [to make possible] its recitation. 17 Therefore when We have recited it, follow its recitation. 18 Then lo! upon Us (resteth) the explanation thereof. 19 Yet you love this hasty world 20 And neglect the Hereafter. 21 Countenances on that Day shall be resplendent, 22 gazing towards their Lord. 23 And how many faces on that Day will be woe-begone 24 Thinking that some calamity was about to fall on them; 25 By no means! When it cometh up to the collar-bone. 26 And it is said, "Who will cure [him]?" 27 And he will conclude that it was (the Time) of Parting; 28 And the leg is wound about the leg, 29 To your Lord on that day shall be the driving. 30

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
