The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

The Striking Calamity - 1 What is the crash? 2 And what will explain to thee what the (Day) of Noise and Clamour is? 3 A Day whereon mankind shall become as moths scattered, 4 and the mountains like tufts of carded wool. 5 So for one whose scales prove heavy, 6 He will be in a pleasant life. 7 whereas he whose weight is light in the balance 8 His refuge will be an abyss. 9 And what shall teach thee what is the Pit? 10 A flaming fire! 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
