Say [unto those who will not believe]: "God is witness enough between me and you! He knows all that is in the heavens and on earth; and they who are bent on believing in what is false and vain, and thus on denying God - it is they, they who shall be the losers!" 52 They ask you to hasten the punishment. Had there not been an appointed time for it, the punishment would already have come to them. Indeed it will come down upon them suddenly and catch them unawares. 53 They ask thee to hasten on the torment; and verily the Hell is about to encompass the infidels. 54 (They will become aware of it) the Day when the chastisement will overwhelm them from above and from under their feet, and He will say to them: “Taste now the consequence of the deeds that you used to commit.” 55 O my bondmen who believe! Lo! My earth is spacious. Therefor serve Me only. 56 Every soul shall taste death and then to Us you shall return. 57 We shall house those who believed and acted righteously in the lofty mansions of Paradise beneath which rivers flow. There they shall remain for ever. How excellent a reward it is for those who acted (in obedience to Allah), 58 Those who are patient, and put their trust (only) in their Lord (Allah). 59 And so many a moving (living) creature there is, that carries not its own provision! Allah provides for it and for you. And He is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower. 60 If you ask them: 'Who has created the heavens and the earth and subjected the sun and the moon?' They will say: 'Allah'; How perverted they are! 61 Allah extends provision for whom He wills of His servants and restricts for him. Indeed Allah is, of all things, Knowing. 62 And if you ask them, “Who sent down the water from the sky, and with it revived the earth after its death?”, they will surely say, “Allah”; proclaim, “All praise is to Allah”; in fact most of them do not have any sense. 63
