Nooh 2 of 2

Noah said: “My Lord, they did not pay heed to what I said, and followed those (nobles) whose possession of wealth and children has led them to an even greater loss. 21 "And they have plotted a mighty plot. 22 "And they have said: 'You shall not leave your gods, nor shall you leave Wadd, nor Suwa', nor Yaghuth, nor Ya'uq, nor Nasr (names of the idols); 23 They have led many astray; so lead the wrongdoers to further error." 24 And because of their transgressions they were drowned, and admitted into a Fire, for they found not, apart from God, any to help them. 25 And Noah said, 'My Lord, leave not upon the earth of the unbelievers even one. 26 "If You leave them, they will mislead Your slaves, and they will beget none but wicked disbelievers." 27 My Lord! forgive me and my parents and him who enters my house believing, and the believing men and the believing women; and do not increase the unjust in aught but destruction! 28

True are the words of God the Almighty.
