۞ And We inspired to Moses, "Travel by night with My servants; indeed, you will be pursued." 52 So Firaun sent gatherers into the cities. 53 Verily these are but a band small. 54 "And verily, they have done what has enraged us; 55 And lo! we are a ready host. 56 and so we have [rightly] driven them out of [their] gardens and springs, 57 and treasures and a noble station; 58 Thus it was: but [in the course of time] We were to bestow all these [things] as a heritage on the children of Israel. 59 Then they followed them at the sunrise; 60 And when the two parties saw each other, the companions of Musa said: verily we are overtaken. 61 [Moses] said, "No! Indeed, with me is my Lord; He will guide me." 62 We commanded Moses: "Smite the sea with your staff." And it parted, and every parting was like a lofty mountain. 63 Then We brought the two parties closer. 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, every one; 65 But We drowned the others. 66 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 67 And verily, your Lord! He is truly the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 68
