1/2 Hizb 45

۞ Gather together those who were unjust and their associates, and what they used to worship 22 Other than God," (the angels will be told), "then show them the way to Hell, 23 And stop them; verily they are to be questioned: 24 "What is the matter with you that you do not help each other?" 25 They will submit to questioning then, 26 And they will advance toward each other mutually questioning. 27 They will say: "It was you who used to come to us from the right side [i.e. from the right side of one of us and beautify for us every evil, order us for polytheism, and stop us from the truth i.e. Islamic Monotheism and from every good deed]." 28 They will say: “Nay, you yourselves were not the ones who would believe. 29 Moreover, we had no power at all over you: nay, you were people filled with overweening arrogance! 30 “So the Word of our Lord has proved true upon us; we will surely have to taste (the punishment).” 31 "So we led you astray because we were ourselves astray." 32 So verily on that Day they all in the torment will be sharers. 33 Lo! thus deal We with the guilty. 34 They were the ones, who on being told, "God is only One," become puffed-up with pride 35 and said, "Should we give up our idols for the sake of an insane poet". 36 Aye! he hath come with the truth, and he confesseth to the sent ones. 37 you shall surely taste the painful punishment, 38 and not be recompensed, except according to what you were doing.' 39 Save the chosen slaves of Allah (faithful, obedient, true believers of Islamic Monotheism). 40 will have their determined sustenance 41 as the fruits [of their life on earth]; and honoured shall they be 42 In the Gardens of delight, 43 On thrones, facing each other. 44 a goblet from a spring shall be passed round to them 45 clear, delightful to those who drink it: 46 no headiness will be in it, and they will not get drunk thereon. 47 And with them will be maidens (houris) who restrain their wide glances 48 so delicate as the hidden peel under an egg's shell. 49 So one among them turns to the other, questioning. 50 A speaker of them saith: Lo! I had a comrade 51 Who said: What! are you indeed of those who accept (the truth)? 52 When we are dead and turned to dust and bones, shall we be recompensed?" 53 Allah will say: will ye look down? 54 Then he will look and see him in the midst of the Fire. 55 He saith: By Allah, thou verily didst all but cause my ruin, 56 "Had it not been for the Grace of my Lord, I would certainly have been among those brought forth (to Hell)." 57 (Allah informs about that true believer that he said): "Are we then not to die (any more)? 58 except for our first death? And shall we suffer no chastisement?'” 59 Indeed, this is the mighty victory, 60 For the like of this then let the workers work. 61 Is that better by way of hospitality or the Zaqqum tree, 62 Verily, We have caused it to be a trial for evildoers: 63 (Zaqqum) is a tree which grows from the deepest part of hell, 64 and its fruits are like devils' heads. 65 Truly, they will eat thereof and fill their bellies therewith. 66 Then on top of that they will be given a mixture made of boiling water. 67 Then shall their return be to the (Blazing) Fire. 68 They found their father going astray 69 and they run in their footsteps. 70 And certainly most of the ancients went astray before them, 71 though We had sent warners among them. 72 See then the end of those who were warned, 73 except for God's sincere servants. 74
