And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
