The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ WHEN THAT which must come to pass [at last] comes to pass, 1 And there can be no denying of its befalling. 2 (it will) abase (some) and exalt (others). 3 When the earth is shaken with a shock 4 And the mountains are crumbled, crumbled. 5 And become dust dispersing. 6 And you shall be three sorts. 7 Those of the right hand -- how (happy) will be those of the right hand! 8 And (then) those on the left hand; what of those on the left hand? 9 And those Foremost (in Faith) will be Foremost (in the Hereafter). 10 those are they brought nigh the Throne, 11 In gardens of tranquility; 12 A number of the earlier peoples, 13 And a few of those of later time. 14 On couches wrought of gold, 15 Reclining thereon, face to face. 16 There wait on them immortal youths 17 with goblets, and ewers, and cups filled with water from unsullied springs 18 Unheady, uninebriating; 19 And fruit that they prefer 20 And the flesh of fowls, any that they may desire. 21 and there shall be wide-eyed maidens, 22 Like pearls within their shells, 23 Reward for what they used to do. 24 There they shall hear no idle talk, no cause of sin, 25 Only the saying, "Peace! Peace". 26 NOW AS FOR those who have attained to righteousness - what of those who have attained to righteousness? 27 Among thornless lote-trees 28 And plantains laden with fruit. 29 And a shade ever-spread. 30 By water flowing constantly, 31 And fruit, abundant [and varied], 32 Whose season is not limited, and their supply will not be cut off, 33 and raised couches 34 Surely We have made them to grow into a (new) growth, 35 Then We have made them virgins, 36 Loving companions matched in age, 37 For those on the right. 38

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
