Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ When the sky breaks apart 1 When the Stars are scattered; 2 And when the seas are made to flow forth, 3 And when the graves are turned upside down (and they bring out their contents) 4 every human being will [at last] comprehend, what he has sent ahead and what he has held back [in this world]. 5 O man! What has made you careless concerning your Lord, the Most Generous? 6 Him Who created thee. Fashioned thee in due proportion, and gave thee a just bias; 7 In whatsoever form He listed He constructed thee. 8 By no means! Aye, ye belie the Requital. 9 yet there are over you watchers 10 noble scribes 11 They know whatsoever ye do. 12 Verily the pious shall be in Delight. 13 And lo! the wicked verily will be in hell; 14 [a fire] which they shall enter on Judgment Day, 15 And they will not be able to keep away therefrom. 16 And what could make thee conceive what that Judgment Day will be? 17 Again: what will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 18 It is a Day whereon no soul shall own aught of power for any soul; and the command on that Day will be Allah's. 19
