Destiny (Al-Qadr)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after He Frowned ('Abasa) before The Sun (Al-Shams)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

BEHOLD, from on high have We bestowed this [divine writ] on Night of Destiny. 1 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Night of Power is! 2 The Night of Power is better than a thousand months. 3 The angels and Jibreel descend in it by the permission of their Lord for every affair, 4 does it make secure, until the rise of dawn. 5

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
