But the cautious shall live amongst gardens and fountains: 45 “Enter them with peace, in safety.” 46 And We shall purge their breasts of all traces of rancour; and they shall be seated on couches facing one another as brothers. 47 They will not be affected by any weariness there, and they will never be made to leave." 48 ۞ Tell My servants I am the All-forgiving, the All-compassionate, 49 And that it is My punishment which is the painful punishment. 50 Tell them about Abraham's guests: 51 When they came to him and said: "Peace," he answered: "Truly we are afraid of you." 52 They (the angels) said: "Do not be afraid! We give you glad tidings of a boy (son) possessing much knowledge and wisdom." 53 He said, "Do you bring me such news despite my old age? What kind of good news are you bringing me?" 54 They answered: "We have given thee the glad tiding of something that is bound to come true. So be not of those who abandon hope!" 55 He said, 'And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord, excepting those that are astray?' 56 He asked: 'Messengers, what is your errand' 57 They answered: "We are sent to people lost in sin [who are to be destroyed,] 58 Except Lut's followers: We will most surely deliver them all, 59 Except his wife, of whom We had decreed that she should be of those who stay behind. 60

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
