The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ When the inevitable event takes place, 1 Then will no (soul) entertain falsehood concerning its coming. 2 Abasing exalting. 3 When the earth will be shaken with a terrible shake. 4 And the mountains are broken down, crumbling 5 Becoming dust scattered abroad, 6 And you will become divided into three categories. 7 Then (as to) the companions of the right hand; how happy are the companions of the right hand! 8 And the Companions of the Left Hand,- what will be the Companions of the Left Hand? 9 And the foremost are the foremost, 10 They shall be the nearest to God. 11 in the Gardens of Delight, 12 (a throng of the ancients 13 and a few from later times. 14 On couches in wrought with gold. 15 Reclining thereon facing each other. 16 immortal youths shall go about them 17 with goblets, and ewers, and a cup from a spring 18 Unheady, uninebriating; 19 and such fruits as they shall choose, 20 and any flesh of fowl that they desire. 21 And wide eyed houris 22 The like of the hidden pearls: 23 Reward for what they used to do. 24 There they shall hear no idle talk, no cause of sin, 25 All talk will be sound and upright. 26 NOW AS FOR those who have attained to righteousness - what of those who have attained to righteousness? 27 Among thorn-less lote-trees. 28 and flower-clad acacias, 29 And a shade ever-spread. 30 and waters gushing, 31 and abundant fruit, 32 unfailing and not forbidden. 33 And on Thrones (of Dignity), raised high. 34 Verily We! We have created those maidens by a creation. 35 and made them virgins, 36 intensely loving and of matching age. 37 For the companions of the right [who are] 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
