We have placed constellations in heaven and have beautified it for beholders, 16 And We have kept it guarded from every outcast devil. 17 so that anyone who seeks to learn [the unknowable] by stealth is pursued by a flame clear to see. 18 We stretched the earth and placed upon it firm stabilisers, and made all things grow upon it balanced evenly. 19 And We have provided therein means of living, for you and for those whom you provide not [moving (living) creatures, cattle, beasts, and other animals]. 20 Of all things there are We have the stores, and send them down in determined measure. 21 And We send the winds fertilizing (to fill heavily the clouds with water), then caused the water (rain) to descend from the sky, and We gave it to you to drink, and it is not you who are the owners of its stores [i.e. to give water to whom you like or to withhold it from whom you like]. 22 for, behold, it is We - We alone - who grant life and deal death, and it is We alone who shall remain after all else will have passed away! 23 And certainly We know those of you who have gone before and We certainly know those who shall come later. 24 Indeed your Lord will gather them all together. Surely He is All-Wise, All-Knowing. 25
