NAY, but consider the moon! 32 And the night when it withdraweth 33 And the dawn when it shineth forth, 34 hell is certainly the greatest calamity. 35 Warn the men. 36 Whoever of you desires to progress or lag behind. 37 Every soul, for what it has earned, will be retained 38 save the Companions of the Right; 39 who will be in Paradise 40 About Al-Mujrimun (polytheists, criminals, disbelievers, etc.), (And they will say to them): 41 'What thrusted you into Sakar?' 42 They will answer: “We were not among those who observed Prayer, 43 "Nor were we of those who fed the indigent; 44 We indulged and persisted in useless disputes, 45 and belied the Day of Recompense 46 Till the Inevitable came unto us. 47 The intercession of the intercessors shall then be of no avail to them. 48 What ails them, that they turn away from the Reminder, 49 like frightened donkeys 50 Fleeing from a lion! 51 Rather each one of them desires that he should be given open Books. 52 By no means! Aye, they fear not the Hereafter. 53 Nay, verily, this is an admonition 54 So whosoever willeth may heed it. 55 And what advice will they heed, except if Allah wills? Only He deserves to be feared, and His only is the greatness of forgiving. 56
