Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates, then makes complete, 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget. 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 but the reprobates will turn away 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 While the hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
