Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

By the forenoon (after sun-rise); 1 By the night when it darkeneth, 2 Thy Guardian-Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. 3 Indeed what is to come will be better for you than what has gone by. 4 And verily thy Lord will give unto thee so that thou wilt be content. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and then gave you shelter? 6 And He found thee wandering, and He gave thee guidance. 7 Did He not find you poor and suffice you? 8 So do not oppress the orphan, 9 and do not chide the one who asks for help; 10 but proclaim the blessings of your Lord. 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
