The Poets (Alshu'araa')

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

۞ Ta Sin Mim 1 These are the verses of a Book luminous. 2 Possibly you may risk your life (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) by grieving, because they did not believe. 3 But if We had so willed, We could have sent down to them a sign from the heavens so that their heads would be bowed down before it in utter humility. 4 And there cometh not unto them any fresh admonition from the Compassionate but they are wont to be therefrom backsliders. 5 They have indeed rejected (the Message): so they will know soon (enough) the truth of what they mocked at! 6 Observe they not the earth, how much We make to grow therein of every fruitful kind? 7 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 8 And lo! thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
