Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

And verily in the heaven we have set mansions of the stars, and We have beautified it for beholders. 16 and We have made them secure against every satanic force accursed 17 so that anyone who seeks to learn [the unknowable] by stealth is pursued by a flame clear to see. 18 And the earth-- We have spread it forth and made in it firm mountains and caused to grow in it of every suitable thing. 19 And created livelihoods for you in it, and created those for whom you do not provide the sustenance. 20 And there is not a thing, but with Us are the stores thereof. And We send it not down except in a known measure. 21 We send impregnating winds and send down water from the sky for you to drink and you have no (control over its) storage. 22 It is indeed We Who grant life and cause death and it is We who shall be the sole Inheritors of all. 23 And certainly We know those of you who have gone before and We certainly know those who shall come later. 24 And surely your Lord will gather them together; surely He is Wise, Knowing. 25
