The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the sky, (displaying) the Zodiacal Signs; 1 And [by] the promised Day 2 And the bearer of witness and those against whom the witness is borne. 3 THEY DESTROY [but] themselves, they who would ready a pit 4 [Containing] the fire full of fuel, 5 When they sat by it (fire), 6 And they, to what they were doing against the believers, were witnesses. 7 The only reason for which they tormented the believers was the latter's belief in God, the Majestic, and Praiseworthy. 8 to whom belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and earth. And Allah is the Witness of all things. 9 Lo! they who persecute believing men and believing women and repent not, theirs verily will be the doom of hell, and theirs the doom of burning. 10 For those who believe and do righteous deeds, will be Gardens; beneath which rivers flow: That is the great Salvation, (the fulfilment of all desires), 11 Truly strong is the Grip (and Power) of thy Lord. 12 It is He who creates all things and causes them to return. 13 And He is Oft-Forgiving, full of love (towards the pious who are real true believers of Islamic Monotheism), 14 in sublime almightiness enthroned, 15 Doer of what He will. 16 Has the story reached you of the hosts, 17 Of Fir'aun (Pharaoh) and Thamud? 18 In fact, the disbelievers had always rejected (Our revelations). 19 and God is behind them, encompassing. 20 Nay, this is a Glorious Qur'an, 21 [Inscribed] in a Preserved Slate. 22
