Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Hast thou seen him who cries lies to the Doom? 1 It is he who pushes the orphan away, 2 and who does not urge the feeding of the poor? 3 Woe, then, unto those praying ones 4 who are heedless of their prayers (delaying them from their prescribed times), 5 who show off (his good deeds) 6 But refuse (to supply) (even) neighbourly needs. 7

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
