The People of the Woods denied the Noble Messengers. 176 Shu'aib said to them: 'Will you not be cautious? 177 Surely I am a faithful apostle to you; 178 So keep your duty to Allah and obey me. 179 "No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the Lord of the Worlds. 180 ۞ Give full measure, and be not of those who cause others to lose. 181 and weigh with the straight scale, 182 and do not deliver short, and do not go about creating mischief in the land, 183 and have fear of Him Who created you and the earlier generations." 184 They said, 'Thou art merely one of those that are bewitched; 185 “You are just a human like us, and indeed we consider you a liar.” 186 So cause to fall upon us fragments of the sky, if you should be of the truthful." 187 He said: 'My Lord knows what you are doing' 188 But they rejected him. Then the punishment of a day of overshadowing gloom seized them, and that was the Penalty of a Great Day. 189 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 190 And verily! Your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 191
