▼ 70 The Heights
Al-Ma'aarej 2 of 2
What aileth those who disbelieve, that they keep staring toward thee (O Muhammad), open-eyed, 36 [To sit] on [your] right and [your] left in separate groups? 37 Does every man of them hope to enter the Paradise of delight? 38 Never! We have indeed created them from a thing they know. 39 Now I do call to witness the Lord of all points in the East and the West that We can certainly- 40 To bring better people than they in their place; and they will not be able to thwart Us. 41 So leave them to converse vainly and amuse themselves until they meet their Day which they are promised - 42 The Day when they will come out of the graves quickly as racing to a goal, 43 Their eyes will be downcast and disgrace will overwhelm them. Such is the Day that they were promised. 44
True are the words of God the Almighty.
