Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By oath of those that are sent, one after the other. (The verses of the Holy Qur’an or the angels or the winds). 1 And those that strike violently, 2 and by the scatterers scattering (rain) 3 And those that distinguish distinctly, 4 And those winds that bring down the remembrance. 5 By way of excuse or warning. 6 surely, that which you have been promised is about to fall! 7 When the stars are obliterated, 8 and when the sky is rent asunder, 9 And when the mountains are carried away by wind. 10 And when the messengers' time has come... 11 For what day is it timed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what will convey unto thee what the Day of Decision is! - 14 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth. 15 Did We not destroy the earlier people? 16 and let the latter follow them? 17 [for] thus do We deal with such as are lost in sin. 18 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 19 Did We not create you from an insignificant drop of fluid 20 that We laid within a sure lodging 21 For a known term? 22 For We do determine (according to need); for We are the best to determine (things). 23 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle? 25 for both the living and the dead? 26 And We placed therein lofty, firmly set mountains and have given you to drink sweet water. 27 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 28 Depart to that you cried was lies! 29 proceed towards the three-pronged shadow, 30 "(Which yields) no shade of coolness, and is of no use against the fierce Blaze. 31 Surely it sends up sparks like palaces, 32 sparks like to golden herds. 33 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 34 On that Day they will be speechless, 35 Nor will they be given permission to present excuses. 36 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 37 This is the Day of Judgement. We have assembled you all together with past generations. 38 So if you have any ploy, try it against Me! 39 Woe on the day unto the beliers! 40
