Believers, fight the unbelievers who are near you. Let them find firmness in you. Know that Allah is with those who are cautious. 123 When a chapter (of the Quran) is revealed, some people ask others, "Whose faith among you people has received strength from this (revelation)?" It (the revelation) certainly strengthens the faith of the believers and they consider it to be a glad news. 124 But it adds disbelief to disbelief for those whose hearts are filled with doubt, and they die disbelieving. 125 Do they not observe that they are tested once or twice every year? Yet they do not repent, nor do they heed advice! 126 And whenever there comes down a Surah (chapter from the Quran), they look at one another (saying): "Does any one see you?" Then they turn away. Allah has turned their hearts (from the light) because they are a people that understand not. 127 There hath come unto you a messenger, (one) of yourselves, unto whom aught that ye are overburdened is grievous, full of concern for you, for the believers full of pity, merciful. 128 But if they turn back, say: Allah is sufficient for me, there is no god but He; on Him do I rely, and He is the Lord of mighty power. 129
